It is the long-standing standard for Australian clubs and associations running sanctioned meets, since it is one of the products Swim Central's HY3 entries file is built to import, and results can be uploaded back into Swim Central from Meet Manager. It suits an established club or association with an experienced meet manager on hand, usually paired with separate electronic timing hardware for sanctioned, qualifying-time meets.

Meet Manager still owns sanctioned meets.
This is not a knock on Meet Manager. For a meet that needs to produce official qualifying times and upload results back to Swim Central, Meet Manager paired with proper electronic timing and licensed officials remains the right tool. EasyMeet does not replace that path.

What does Meet Manager cost?
Hy-Tek's own list pricing (US$, at time of writing) runs from a Start Up licence at US$349 plus US$20 support, up to Standard at US$499 plus US$20 support, with an upgrade path at US$269 plus US$20. Add-ons such as a Timing Console Interface (US$295), a CTS Dolphin Wireless Interface (US$149), a network option for multi-user and live web results (US$495) and a scoreboard interface (US$495) are extra. That is software only: electronic timing hardware is a separate purchase.
Does Meet Manager run on a Mac?
Not natively. Meet Manager is Windows desktop software, so a Mac needs Parallels or VMware to run it. EasyMeet is browser-based, so it runs the same way on any phone, laptop or tablet without installing anything.
Can I still use Swim Central with EasyMeet?
Yes, on the way in. EasyMeet imports your nominations as an HY3 export from Swim Central, the same file Meet Manager accepts. The difference is the way back: EasyMeet exports results as PDF and CSV, while Meet Manager can send results back into Swim Central.
Is EasyMeet a replacement for Meet Manager?
Not for sanctioned meets. Meet Manager remains the standard where a meet needs to run under licensed officiating and upload results to Swim Central. EasyMeet is built for the club nights, time trials and carnivals around those sanctioned meets, where that overhead is not needed.
Can a club use both?
Many do. A club can run EasyMeet for weekly club nights and casual time trials, and keep Meet Manager for the handful of sanctioned meets it runs each season. Both read the same Swim Central HY3 entries file, so there is nothing extra to set up to use either.
