Swim timing system price, compared honestly.
“How much is swim timing hire” does not have one answer, because timing hire, desktop software licences and EasyMeet are three different ways to pay. Here is how they actually differ, without naming names or guessing anyone else's price list.
Hiring touchpads and a timing console
Electronic touchpad timing is accurate, but it is hired by the day: a console, touchpads for every lane, cabling, and usually an operator who knows the gear. It has to be booked ahead, set up on the day and packed down afterwards, and the cost is a one-off hire fee each time you run a meet.
Buying desktop meet-management software
Desktop meet-management programs are usually a one-off licence per computer, sometimes with a yearly renewal to keep using the latest version. You still need separate timing hardware or hand-entered times to feed it, and someone on the committee has to learn the software.

If you run more than about five club nights a year, the Club plan works out cheaper than paying per meet. Per meet suits a club that times only the odd one-off.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. The Club plan is month to month and you can pause or cancel any time, including over the off-season. Annual is optional and saves two months.
Do I need to buy any equipment?
No. EasyMeet runs on the phones your club and families already have. There are no touchpads, consoles or cables to buy or hire.
How many volunteers can join?
As many as you like. Timers and the starter join by QR code at no extra cost, on any plan.
Are prices inc GST?
Yes. Every price shown includes GST, so the number on the page is the number you pay.
Why is the price on the page?
Because you should not have to sit through a sales call to find out what timing costs. The price is the price, published, the same for every club.
