A portable swim timing system: no touchpads, no hire fees.
EasyMeet turns the phones your timers already carry into a wireless swim timing system. No touchpads to buy, no console to wire up, nothing to pack into a trailer.
A full touchpad and transponder system is built for meets that need qualifying times, and it costs and weighs accordingly. Most club nights, time trials and carnivals do not need that. They need a timing system that turns up in a volunteer's pocket, starts in minutes, and does not need a trailer to transport.
Wireless swim timing without touchpads
There is no cable running down the pool, no junction box on deck and no console to configure before anyone can race. Each phone is its own timer, talking to the server over wifi or mobile data.
- No cabling between lanes
- No console or operator seat needed
- Works outdoors or in a hall, same setup
- 1
Starter taps GO
The instant a finger touches the button, not when it lifts off, the starter's phone notes that moment on its own synced clock.
- 2
The tone plays instantly
That same tap plays the GO sound straight away, before anything is sent anywhere, so the sound is never held up waiting on the network.
- 3
The start is locked in
That moment becomes the official start. A second tap can't move a race that's already running.
- 4
Every timer phone finds out live
Every connected phone is told the instant the race starts, even one that joined late. Each one buzzes and flashes once, so no one misses it.
A cheap swim timing system because there's nothing to hire
The biggest cost in a touchpad system is the hardware. EasyMeet's biggest cost is a phone your timers already own, so the system is the software, not the gear.
- Your first meet is free on any plan, with every feature and no card needed.
- $39 a month for unlimited club nights, or $75 for a one-off
- The Club plan is month to month. Pause or cancel any time, including over the off-season.
Timers and the starter use the phones they already carry. No touchpads, consoles or cables to buy or hire.
No cables, no touchpads, still on one clock.
Dropping the cables does not mean dropping the discipline. Every phone checks its own clock against the server before the race, and again every 20 seconds while everyone waits, so the whole pool deck agrees on the time without a single wire between lanes.
Each phone asks the server “what time is it?” and notes how long the reply takes to arrive. Six quick checks, and the quickest reply wins, since a fast answer means less waiting got mixed into it.
six quick checks
It keeps checking in like this while everyone waits for the race, and locks solid the instant the race starts, so nothing can drift mid-race.

Swim timing system questions
Is EasyMeet a cheap swim timing system?
There's nothing to buy or hire: it runs on the phones your club already has. Your first meet is free on any plan, with every feature and no card needed. After that it's $39 a month for a whole club, or $75 for a single meet, all prices shown include gst.
Is this wireless swim timing?
Yes. There is no cabling between lanes and no console to wire up. Every phone talks to the server over your venue's wifi or mobile data, so setup is picking up phones, not running cables.
How is swim timing without touchpads still accurate?
Every phone syncs its clock to the server before the race, and the starter's GO starts every phone on the same instant, so there's no hand-start variation between lanes. Measured in our own tests: 240 clock checks over 4G, worst case about 0.022 s (0.009 s on home internet). Two timers per lane are then averaged, catching a slow tap before it becomes the result.
How portable is it really?
As portable as the phones in your volunteers' pockets. There's no bag of touchpads, junction boxes or cable reels to load into a car and set up poolside. Pack down is closing the app.
Can this replace touchpads for a qualifying meet?
No, and we would rather say that plainly. This is hand timing done properly, not transponder timing. It suits club nights, time trials and carnivals. A sanctioned qualifying time still needs the meet run under licensed officiating.
