Swim meet and school carnival timing in Queensland.
From Far North Queensland to the Gold Coast, EasyMeet turns the phones already on deck into synchronised timing, so distance and timing-gear hire stop deciding what a club can run.
Club nights across 7 regions
Swimming Queensland organises clubs into 7 regional associations: Brisbane, Central Queensland, Darling Downs, Far North Queensland, Gold Coast, North Queensland and Wide Bay. The scale varies a lot between them: Far North Queensland alone covers 19 clubs and around 1,300 swimmers, which gives a sense of how much ground a single region can span. Queensland clubs also use Swim Central the same way clubs elsewhere do, for nominations and membership.
- Import nominations from Swim Central as an HY3 file
- Two phones per lane, auto-averaged into one time
- Same setup whichever region your club sits in

The Queensland school sport pathway
Queensland School Sport splits the state into 12 school sport regions, and the swimming pathway runs school or district trial, then regional carnival, then state, then national selection. Swimming Queensland also publishes a School Swim Meet Booklet for Meet Organisers, aimed squarely at the teacher or P&C volunteer who has to run the carnival rather than at an association official.
- Suits a single-school trial or a multi-school regional carnival
- Age groups and heats set up once, applied across every event
- Run sheet printed straight from the imported program

Timing across a lot of distance
Queensland's regions are large by any standard, and a club or school on the edge of one, say in Far North Queensland or Wide Bay, can be hours from the nearest regional carnival or the nearest place to hire electronic timing gear. That makes the club night and the school trial carry a lot of weight: they are often the only chances swimmers get to race before a regional or state cut, and they need to be timed properly even without easy access to touchpads.
Where EasyMeet fits in Queensland
Because EasyMeet runs on phones already in the room, it removes the distance problem that comes with hiring touchpads into a region a long way from a supplier: there is nothing to freight in, set up or return. A club night in any of the 7 regions, or a school trial anywhere in the 12 school sport regions, gets the same synchronised start, two-phone lane averaging, and live board, with PDF and CSV results ready the moment the last race finishes.
- No timing gear to hire or freight into a remote region
- Same setup for Brisbane, the Gold Coast, or Far North Queensland
- Results exported and ready before everyone has left the pool

Queensland questions
Does EasyMeet work the same across all 7 Swimming Queensland regions?
Yes. The setup, pricing and features are identical whether you are in Brisbane, Far North Queensland, or any other region. There is nothing region-specific to configure.
We're a long way from the nearest timing-gear supplier. Does that matter?
No, that is exactly the problem EasyMeet is built to remove. It runs on the phones your club already has, so there is nothing to hire or freight in for a one-off carnival or club night.
Can EasyMeet import our Swim Central nominations?
Yes. Drop in the HY3 export and the whole program, every event, heat and lane, builds itself and matches against your roster.
Will it handle a multi-school regional school sport carnival?
Yes, unlimited lanes, heats and students, with a live board for the whole venue and results exported the moment racing ends.
Are EasyMeet's times official for regional or state selection?
No. EasyMeet produces proper hand times, consistent and far better than a stopwatch and a paper card, but a sanctioned qualifying time still needs the meet run under licensed officiating.
