For Victorian clubs and schools

Swim meet and school carnival timing in Victoria.

From a country district club night to an SSV division carnival, EasyMeet turns the phones already on pool deck into synchronised timing, with no gear to hire and results ready live.

Club nights

Club nights across country and metro districts

Swimming Victoria covers more than 120 clubs spread across 9 country districts and 4 metro districts, with around 15,000 members between them. A country club running a Friday night meet is working with a very different pool, roster and budget to a metro club, but the timing problem is the same one: get an accurate time on every swimmer, every lane, every heat, without a crew of officials and a pile of paper cards.

  • Import nominations from Swim Central as an HY3 file
  • Two phones per lane, auto-averaged into one time
  • Works the same for a country club or a metro club

School carnivals

The School Sport Victoria pathway

School Sport Victoria runs one of the deepest school-sport ladders in the country: primary swimming goes District then Division then Region then State, and secondary swimming runs Division then Region then State. That structure is built from 232 district groups feeding into 54 divisions and 8 regions. SSV publishes its own swimming rules for primary and secondary carnivals, which most Victorian schools work from when setting up their own carnival.

  • Suits a single district carnival or a full division meet
  • Age groups and heats set up once, applied across every event
  • Run sheet printed straight from the imported program

On the ground

A pathway built on volume

With 232 district groups underneath just 54 divisions, most Victorian swimmers' first representative carnival is a small, local affair, often the biggest timing job a school runs all year, well before anyone reaches division or region level. That is exactly the kind of day that falls over on stopwatches and paper cards: a lot of heats, a handful of volunteers, and a results sheet that has to be right the first time because there is no backup plan if a watch is missed.

Why EasyMeet

Where EasyMeet fits in Victoria

For a club night, EasyMeet runs on the phones your timers already carry, whether that is a country pool with patchy reception or a metro 50m centre. A timer's finish time is locked in on their own phone the instant they tap, so a shaky connection afterwards cannot change it, which matters on a country pool deck as much as anywhere. For a district or division school carnival, the same setup scales up: one program, a live board the whole carnival can read, and PDF and CSV exports the moment the last race finishes.

  • Built to cope with patchy wifi at country pools
  • No touchpads or consoles to hire for a district carnival
  • Same setup scales from a club night to a division meet

Questions

Victoria questions

What's the difference between a district and a division carnival in Victoria?

District is the first, most local tier under School Sport Victoria, with 232 district groups statewide. Divisions sit above that, 54 of them, each drawing winners up from several districts before Region and then State.

Does EasyMeet work at a country pool with weak reception?

Yes. Each timer's tap is timed and saved on their own phone the instant it happens, then it keeps retrying in the background until it gets through, so a dodgy connection after the fact cannot change a result.

Can a small country club afford this, not just a big metro club?

EasyMeet is priced per club night or per club, not per swimmer, so a small country club pays the same as a large metro one for the same night.

Can EasyMeet import our Swim Central nominations?

Yes. Drop in the HY3 export and the whole program, every event, heat and lane, builds itself and matches against your roster.

Will EasyMeet handle a full SSV division carnival, not just a club night?

Yes, the setup scales up the same way: unlimited lanes and heats, a live board for the whole venue, and exports ready as soon as racing ends.
